"23. april kom det tyske fly innover og slapp endel bomber, hvorav noen falt i nærheten av båten, dog uten å skade den. Da drog resten av mannskapet i land, således at bare kapteinen var igjen. Disse mannskaper kom dagen etter tilbake og hentet det meste av sine effekter og drog så i land igjen for godt".
