MORTENSEN, MORTEN, 1. styrmann, Narvik. Født 6. mars 1890 i Ofoten, s. av Hans Mortensen, f. 1854, og Elen f. Olsen, f. 1857, begge i Ofoten. Gift 1916 i Ankenes med Marie Elisabeth, f. 1894 i Bodø. 2 barn. Styrmanns- og skipsførerskole. Seilte under første verdenskrig i utenriksfart. Var 1. styrmann på d/s Nord-Norge, kom senere på d/s Barøy, og omkom 12. september 1941 da skipet ble senket av lufttorpedo eller mine på Vestfjorden.
