JOHNSEN, JOHN ALEXANDER, matros, Haugesund. Født 19. oktober 1918 i Haugesund, s. av Alexander Johnsen, f. 1891 i Estland, og Leonora Jørgine f. Hervik, f. 1896 s. st. Skoleskipskurs. Var under krigen matros på d/s Rona til han ble såret av en bombesplint under et flyangrep på skipet 26. april 1941. Han ble brakt til Flekkefjord sykehus hvor han døde 28. april s. å. Gravlagt i Haugesund.
