ds "Torfinn Jarl", ds "Haakon Jarl", ds "Kong Erik", ds "Henrik Wegeland", ds "Trondhjem",
ds "Bruse Jarl", ds "Atle Jarl" og ms "Halvdan Jarl". Alle av Trondheim tilh. s.n. rederi.
"Var i Hamburg under storbombingen i aug. 1943. Praktfullt og uhyggelig.
Var også eneste nordmann på Kalimnos da dodekaneserne ble offisielt tilbakelevert
til Grekenland etter krigen. (Før Italienske). Var innbunden på fesen, først omb.
i det greske marinefartøy som kom med de sivile og militære myndigheter, og senere
i land på byens eneste og største hotell."
