Haugesund sjømannskontor:
Om bord D/S Rona da skipet ble angrepet og skadet av allierte fly 26. april 1941 og tre av mannskapet døde. Grindheim fikk ny sjøfartsbok 14. juni 1941 som følge av hendelsen. Fikk ny sjøfartsbok igjen 4. desember 1941 etter grunnstøtingen med D/S King 23. november 1941.
Mønstret på D/S Sarp 24. februar 1945. Skipet ble angrepet av allierte fly 24. mars. Ikke mulig å dokumentere om Grindheim var om bord da.
