Gift med Marie Sofie Hauge Lund, f. 1884 i Onsøy. 9 barn. Sjømannsskoler og utdannelse i Marinen. Var kanoner på p/s Eidsvold og omkom 9. april 1940 da skipet ble senket ved Narvik.
