MARTINSEN, ARNE, lettmatros, Oslo. Født 29. april 1923 i Oslo, s. av Jakob Martinsen, f. 1890 i Oslo, og Marie Nikoline f. Kristiansen. Skoleskipskurs. Seilte under krigen som lettmatros på d/s Sydfold, og omkom 22. januar 1940 da skipet sank etter en eksplosjon, på vei fra Kristiansand til Newcastle. En antar at skipet ble torpedert.
