JOHANSEN, KARSTEN, maskinist, Sem. Født 30. mars 1909 i Sem, s. av Karl Johan Johansen, f. 1861 i Sverige, og Marie f. Kristiansen, f. 1863 i Sem. Var maskinist på m/t Akides, og omkom 23. juli 1943 da skipet ble torpedert av en japansk u-båt, på vei fra Abadan til Fremantle. Livbåtene ble beskutt fra u-båten.
