Våre falne:
Gift 1927 i Sandefjord med Sigrid Johansen, f. 1906 i Tjølling. 4 barn. Reiste ut på hvalfangst i 1939 som stuert med hvalbåten Enern. Fra krigsutbruddet i Norge var «Enern» vaktskip ved Curacao. I november 1941 gikk han over på d/s Anderson som i konvoi gikk på grunn i storm og snøtykke ved Newfoundlandsbankene 9. februar 1942. Andersen ble først reddet opp i livbåten, men en bølge slo ham ut av båten, og han forsvant.
