Var en av flere som rømte fra M/S Bosphorus den 28. september 1941, mens denne lå internert i Algerie.

Våre falne:

"Var jungmann på m/s Bosphorus som ble internert i Algier juni 1940. I oktober samme år kom han til Spania og derfra til Amerika. Tok hyre som lemper på d/s Annavore, og omkom 21. desember 1941 da skipet ble torpedert i Atlanterhavet, sju dagsreiser fra Gibraltar, på reise til Oban".
