"Som nevnt i skjema ble vi senket den 4.12.42, men kom først til Aden lille-julaften 23.12.1942 etter 8 døgn og resten av tiden i ørkenen før vi kom frem til Ras Betula og dermed videre til Aden med et engelsk marinefartøy."

Det er notert at han skulle til Norge med "M/B Chant 22" 7.1.1946.
