LUND, TORFINN BØRRE, jungmann, Notodden. Født 14. juli 1923 i Notodden, s. av gullsmed Henrik Lund, f. 1883, og Hildur f. Larsen, f. 1883, begge i Oslo. Teknisk aftenskole, korrespondansekurser. Dro ut som dekksgutt på d/s Bruse høsten 1939. Ble senere jungmann på m/s Benjamin Franklin, og omkom 19. februar 1941 da skipet ble torpedert ca. 500 n. mil NNW av Irland, på vei fra Los Angeles til Liverpool.
