Var elektriker på M/T CALEDONIA, og omkom da båten ble torpedert i Atlanterhavet 28. april 1941 på vei fra Aruba via Halifax til England. Publikumshenvendelse: Hans Berg var nevø til Erling Gjessing, som også var om bord i skipet da det krigsforliste.
