MAGNUSSEN, ARTHUR LINDAHL, smører, Tjøme. Født 11. oktober 1903 på Nøtterøy, s. av Leander Magnussen, f. 1855 i Sverige, og hustru Anna, f. 1858 i Stokke. Gift 1930 på Tjøme med Alfhild, f. 1907 s. st. 2 barn. Var hvalfanger fra han ble konfirmert, dro siste gang ut høsten 1939 som 2. koker. Senere seilte han i alliert fart på d/s Hallfried, og omkom 31. oktober 1943 da skipet ble torpedert utenfor vestkysten av Skottland, på vei fra Spania til Skottland.
