Seilte i 1939 som maskinmester på hvalkokeriet D/S TAFFELBERG, kom senere over på D/S HAVTOR.
Omkom 11.juni 1941 da D/S HAVTOR ble torpedert i Nord Atlanteren på reise fra Reykjavik til Nova Scotia, Canada.
