KRUGE, MATHIAS, maskinmester, Tønsberg. Født 22. mai 1879 på Tjøme, s. av Anders Kristensen Kruge og Nilia f. Andersen. Gift 1908 i Oslo med Christiane Nicoline Holm, f. 1883 i Tønsberg. 3 barn. Maskinistskole, motorkurs. Seilte under krigen i alliert fart som maskinmester på d/s Hvoslef, og omkom 10. mars 1942 da skipet ble torpedert av en u-båt 2 n. mil øst for Fenwick's I., på vei fra Sagua, Cuba, til Boston.
