ANDRESEN, GUNNAR, sjømann, Sandar. Født 12. juli 1923 i Sandar, s. av maskinist Arthur Nikolay Andresen, f. 1891 i Sandefjord, d. 1945, og Margit f. Olsen, f. 1897 i Sandefjord. Dro på hvalfangst høsten 1939 som salonggutt. Reiste for en tid på Sør- og Nord-Amerika. I 1940 ansatt et halvt års tid i en sportsforretning i New York, men gikk til sjøs igjen som matros. Gikk senere etter eget ønske over i Atlanterhavsfarten, og omkom da m/t Innerøy ble torpedert i Atlanterhavet, 22. januar 1942. Omtalt i Vestfold 20. oktober 1945.
