Maskinistskole, maskinaspirant ved Götaverken i Göteborg. Reiste til sjøs og kom i alliert tjeneste da krigen brøt ut. Var maskinist på d/s Kongshaug, og omkom 9. juli 1942 da skipet ble senket av tyske E-båter, på vei fra Cardiff til Poole.
