ARNESEN, ROBERT, messegutt, Laksevåg. Født 18. juni 1901 i Bergen, s. av John Margido Arnesen, d. i Levanger, og Johanne Marie f. Larsen, f. 1875 i Eid i Nordfjord, d. 1947 i Oslo. Var en tid handelsbetjent i manufakturforretning. Dro til sjøs med d/s Munin som fyrbøter, var deretter messegutt på hvalkokeriet Kosmos II og omkom 29. oktober 1942 da skipet ble torpedert på vei fra New York til Clyde.
