WIGER, ROLF EINAR, messegutt, Oslo. Født 19. desember 1913 i Oslo, s. av Olaf E. Wiger, f. 1875 s. st., og Gunda f. Gulliksen, f. 1873 i Drammen, d. 1916 i Oslo. Meldte seg som frivillig og var med i kampene ved Elverum i april 1940. Reiste til Sverige og dro til sjøs som motormann. Var senere messegutt på m/t Ranja, og omkom da skipet forsvant på vei fra Halifax. Det gikk fra Houston 9. mars 1942, og ble antagelig senket av u-båt 17. mars. (Fra «Våre falne»)
