M/S RAVNAAS ble 8.12.1941 - Senket av japanske fly 250 nm. Ø Samar, Phillipinene. Besetningen på 28 mann kom seg i båtene og rodde til Samar. Internert I japansk fangenskap på Cebu på Philippinene fra 13.12.1941 til 23.2.1945 , frisatt av amerikanske styrker fra japansk fangeleir og reiste med M/S BRITISH COLUMBIA EXPRESS fra Manila til Hollandia, New Guinea den 23 3.1945. Videre transportert til New York og avmønstret RAVNAAS der 26.5.1945.
Ankom USA 7.5.1945.
Fangenskapslønn fra 14.2.1942 til 23.4.1945 + 2 måneders ekstra hyre 13.12.1942 til 13.2.1942.
Kom hjem til Oslo, Norge som ekstramann med M/S JOHN BAKKE 26.8.1945.
