Våre falne:
Gift 1915 i Trondenes med Konstanse Marie Simonsen, f. 1891 i Trondenes. 4 barn. Seilte som kokk i mange år, bl. a. som 1. kokk på «Stella Polaris» før krigen. Omkom sammen med sønnen Kåre Willjam da d/s Rinda ble torpedert mellom Cape Town og Freetown 30. mai 1941.
