RINGWOOD ble kapret av den tyske raideren ORION. Besetningen overført til raideren, senere overført til tysk M/S ERMLAND, ankom Bordeaux, Frankrike, 3. april 1941, og videresendt til fangeleir(er) i Tyskland. Ankom Oslo om bord i D/S DONAU 4. mai 1941 og frigitt.

Mottok fangenskapslønn fra 13. desember 1940 til 3. juli 1941.
