Gift med (jf. London-kort): Annie Lund.

Lund ble reddet da D/S Selbo ble senket av tyske fly utenfor Cape Cavello 28. november 1942. Fra 23. februar 1943 og resten av krigen var han i Den norske marine.

Han tjenestegjorde i Den norske marine i 1921-1922.
