I sjøforklaring til "freidig" er han oppført men navnet "Albert Albert".

Våre falne:

Gift 1923 i Fredrikstad med Antonie Helen Lund, f. 1902 i Hvaler. 1 barn. Styrmanns- og skipsførereksamen. Var fører på s/s Sitona som ble torpedert 3. mai 1941 på vei mellom Blyth og London, senere på forskjellige båter i alliert fart. Var med på å redde mannskapet fra en torpedert engelsk båt våren 1941, og fikk engelsk påskjønnelse for det. Omkom som fører av d/s Freidig, da skipet krigsforliste utenfor østkysten av England 7. februar 1944.
