BRYN, PER, lettmatros, Bestun. Født 8. desember 1922 i Oslo, s. av Ingolf Bryn, f. 1896 i Larvik, og Tora f. Knutsen, f. 1894 i Kristiansand. Middelskole. Gikk til sjøs som jungmann 1939. Senere lettmatros på m/s Talabot da skipet ble bombet og senket ved Malta 1942. Omkom da m/s Vibran forsvant etter å ha gått fra Cardiff 18. september 1942 på vei til Halifax. Krigsmedaljen post mortem.
