M/S Talleyrand ble 2. august 1940 kapret av den tyske raider Atlantis og skutt i senk 3. august 1940. Mannskapet overført til Atlantis. Han ble internert i Frankrike , frigitt og hjemsendt. Avmønstret i Oslo 17. desember 1940.
