Fra Londonkort: Meldte seg til tjeneste for kapt. Kiil, Nortraship i New York januar 1941, ventet på nybygg for Thor Dahl, men dette drog ut, tok jeg ARAGON som trengte telegrafist.
Etter krigen arbeidet han en periode på Sola flystasjon som telegrafist og senere som telegrafist på Rogaland Radio. Han arbeidet på Rogaland radio frem til han ble pensjonist.
