Reiste som 3. Maskinist med M/S PLEASANTVILLE, som ble senket 8. juni 1942 i Vestindia, på reise fra New York til Alexandria. Han ble reddet, kom senere ombord på M/S THORSTRAND, og omkom da skipet ble torpedert den 6. mars 1943, på reise fra Liverpool til New York.
