LILLEÅS, OLAV, maskinist, Haugesund. Født 18. februar 1915 i Kopervik, s. av Oskar Julius Lilleås, f. 1891 i Kopervik, og Anne Martha f. Kolstø, f. 1892 i Avaldsnes. Aftenskole, maskinistskole. Dro ut med m/t Vivi som 3. maskinist etter krigens utbrudd, og seilte senere i alliert tjeneste. Tok hyre på d/k Leikanger i april 1942. Da skipet var på vei mellom Cape Town og Trinidad, ble det torpedert 14 døgns reise fra Cape Town, og han omkom da skipet gikk ned 27. juli 1942.
