Skipene ble bragt til Bordeaux hvor de ankom 20/3-1941, John Bergseth ble repatriert til Norge mai 1941.

I perioden 1.6.1942 til 31.8.1944 seilte Bergset i hjemmeflåten på Farmand 1.
