M/T Regina lå og losset i Marceilles den 21. juni 1941 da skipet be beslaglagt av Franske (Vichy) myndigheter. Mannskapet ble internert den 9. juli 1941 i Bone. Noen greide å rømme, de andre ble løslatt og ankom UK 21. januar 1943.
Thorstein Stokke reiste hjem til Norge med "Bretagne" som ekstramann 9. august 1945.
