Styrmann, Bergen. Født 6. desember 1908 i Bergen, s. av Nikolai Severin Rasmussen, f. 1880, og Emilie Thorvalda f. Arnesen, f. 1882, begge i Bergen. Gift 1938 i Bergen med Sigrid Marie Ellingsen. 1 barn. Dro til sjøs våren 1938 med d/s Ingerfem, og mønstret senere på d/s Hosanger. Omkom 27. januar 1940 da skipet sank i Nordsjøen etter torpedering
