Nortrashipsflåtens Skyttere 1941 til 1946:
Skytter nr. 2246: Andersen, Reidar. Født 18.05.1921 i Bergen.
Yrke: Sjømann, fartstid ca. 48 mnd.
Var hjemme den 9. april 1940. Den 13. oktober 1941 tok de brønnbåten NORA 1, som da var lastet med "pale" og dro over Nordsjøen. 18 personer, derav 1 kvinne og et barn var med på turen. Alle kom vel fram til Lerwick den 15. oktober.
Han seilte en tid i handelsflåten, men mønstret av MS TARN i New York og meldte seg til Marinen.
Han ble utdannet til skytter på SSH Travers Island.
Gjorde deretter tjeneste ombord på:
MS MARTIN BAKKE fra 12.02.1944 til 12.07.1945.
DS VIVI fra 31.07.1945 til 17.08.1945
Dimittert ved Garnes, Bergen den 27. november 1945.
