Hadde seilt i utenriksfart i 35 år. Omkom 5. april 1945 da D/S TORRIDAL ble torpedert på Folla, på vei fra Bodø til Trondheim.

Sjømann ikke nevnt i sjøforklaring til torpedering av DS Torridal den 5. april 1945.
