AXELSEN, ARNT KRISTIAN, maskinist, Brevik. Født 5. november 1900 i Lardu, s. av Simon Emil Axelsen og Anne Christine f. Jakobsen. Gift 1932 i Eidanger med Astri Hanssen, f. 1910 i Oslo. 1 barn. Teknisk aftenskole, motormaskinisteksamen. Var under krigen maskinist på kystdampskipet Tromøsund, som 28. februar 1943 ble kapret i Rekefjord. Omkom da skipet ble ettersøkt av tyske fly og bombet i senk 1. mars 1943.
