Petter BERG født 02.11.1890, født Peter BERG PEDERSEN, men skiftet senere etternavn til BERG.
Konfirmert i FLOSTA kirke høsten 1905.
Til sjøs på midlertidig patent med seilskip IMACOS av Tvedestrand i 19.3/30 måneder, tilhørende CARL BECK.
Første registrerte mønstring 1908 med Dampskip SKALD av Tvedestrand, tilhørende M. H. GUNDERSEN.
Styrmanns sertifikat for dampskip 13.05.1912.
Seilte i utenriks fart under hele 1.verdenskrig uten krigsforlis.
Skipsfører sertifikat for dampskip i Arendal 08.11.1920.
2.verdenskrig: Berg var påmønstret Dampskip BYGDØY fra 11.09.1937 som skipsfører inntil han avmønstret i Oslo 29.12.1939.
Etter krigen seilte han som skipsfører på Dampskip NESTTUN og Dampskip FANDANGO inntil han sluttet sjøen i 26.10.1950.
Gift. 1 barn. Død i 1985.
