LIAN, MARTIN NIKOLAI, fyrbøter, Trondheim. Født 25. august 1881 i Trondheim, s. av Kristen Lian, f. 1830 i Rennebu, d. 1893, og Marit Nilsdatter f. Gravdal, f. 1835 i Hemne, d. 1920. 1 barn. Var fyrbøter på d/s Strindheim, og omkom 15. desember 1939 da skipet sank etter en eksplosjon utenfor Tyne. Det var på reise fra Muruvik i Trondheimsfjorden til Hull, og støtte antagelig på en mine.
