Ikke ført i Tvedestrand Mønstrings-krets. Muligens ført i Arendal.
Var lettmatros på Dampskip START, som 29.januar 1940 forlot England med kurs for Oslo. Omkom ved krigsforlis 31.01.1940 i Nordsjøen. Hele besetningen på 16 mann omkom ved torpedering eller minesprengning.
