Biografi av Wrold Einarsen tatt fra Boka BORGES SKIPSFØRERE - ANNEN UTGAVE - 1935 - 1953.
Født 28. september 1896 på Narestø, i Dypvåg/Flosta kommune.
Til sjøs 1911 med D.S. TRUMA (2500) av Arendal, tilhørende Chr. BOE.
For øvrige mønstringer se Mønstringer.
Styrmanns eksamen 1916 og skipsfører eksamen 1922 i Arendal. Radio sertifikat i Horten 1917.
Fra 22.06.1922 til 05.08.1940 seilte i kystfart med skip i Arendal Dampskipsselskap A/S som
styrmann og fører.
Har senere ført ført d.s. STABIL, d.s. FLØYEN 1 (1942-1945), d,s. BJØRNINGEN, d.s. TORA,samtlige tilhørte sistnevnte rederi.
Sluttet sjøen i 1949.
Var senere fører av D.S. AMMONIA (innsjøfart) (1400) t.) av Skien, tilhørende Norsk Hydro, Rjukan.
Gift. 2 barn.
Formann i Norsk Styrmanns Forenings styre fra 1931 til 1938.
