Mønstret i Bergen som 2.styrmann til D.S. EROS 25.7.1940. Den 14.10.1941 angrepet av 3 engelske fly nord for Egersund og drev mot land og grunnstøtte. Total forlis. Hele besetningen reddet. Avmønstret i Bergen 22.10.1941.
Mønstret i Bergen 1.12.1941 til D.S. HALSE som 2.styrmann, ommønstet i Bergen 19.2.1942 til 1.styrmann, mønstret av i Trondheim 18.2.1943.
