Våre falne:
Fyrbøter,Født 3. februar 1921 i Bergen, s. av Herman Monsen, f. 1895 s. st., og Alma Helene Johannesen. Gift 1942 i Stamnes med Aagot Olsen. Var på hurtigruteskipet Sanct Svithun som ble bombet av fly ved Buholmen på Stad 30. september 1943 og satt brennende på land ved Ervik. Han kom seg opp på en flåte og ble ført til havs. Liket ble funnet ved Ålesund en måned senere og gravlagt på Møllendal gravplass, Bergen.
