Fra rapport av CSM Cripps september 1942:
"Parachute training report 3.10.42. STS 51. Course 27.9.42-2.10.42. Inst.Report All descents were made in perfect conditions giving soft landings.
Individual report: Gabrielsen. Fit and athletic; he picked up the ground training extraordinarily quickly and jumped well. Young and very quiet. A sound type. Four descents - 1st Class. Sgt. Gabrielsen in absence of any other O.R.'s was accommodated in the Officers' Mess and was quiet, popular and well behaved. He was the right build for parachuting and did very well. He gave entire satisfaction."

Fra rapport på Gabrielsen av Colonel R.W.Craddock 21. november 1945:
"After taking part in the VAAGSØY raid on the West Coast of NORWAY in 1941 he received a bullet wound in his leg which considerably delayed his further departure to the Field. In October, 1942, he was dropped in south NORWAY but, owing to arrests in the neighbourhood, was forced to flee with his companion to STOCKHOLM. He returned to NORWAY on 1st June, 1943, as wireless operator to the Central Leadership of the Secret Military Organisation, and did very valuable work in keeping in contact with the U.K. under extremely difficult conditions. After six months in the neighbourhood of OSLO he was ordered to proceed to SWEDEN for a rest, and returned to the Field again on 29th March, 1944. From March until October he resumed his work with the Central Leadership and met with the same success as hitherto. In October 1944 he was ordered to London for a refresher course in wireless and returned to the Field in February 1945, remaining in the neighbourhood of Oslo until VE-Day."
