BRATHOLM, SVERRE INGVALD, matros, Borgund i Møre. Født 15. mars 1921 i Borgund, s. av Nikolai Bratholm, f. 1890 i Borgund, og Sofie f. Vikene, f. 1893 i Hustad. Hadde vært til sjøs siden han var 14 og et halvt år. Var matros på d/s Navarra, og omkom da skipet ble torpedert 6. april 1940 på vei fra Skottland til Norge. 14 av besetningen ble reddet, 12 omkom.
