JOHNSEN, HANS JOSEF BJARNE, matros, Borge i Lofoten. Født 26. mars 1920 i Borge, s. av kjøpmann Ragnvald Johnsen og hustru Petra, begge Borge. Skoleskipskurs. Tok hyre 1937 og var på forskjellige skip som lettmatros. Var på d/s Astra høsten 1939 og gikk i land i Newcastle i mars 1940. Tok kort etter hyre på m/t Nina Borthen. Skipet gikk fra Milford Haven 30. september 1940 i konvoi. Da konvoien ble oppløst 5. oktober 1940, var «Nina Borthen» forsvunnet. En livbåt drev i land ved Dunmore 19. desember 1940.
