"Tana" ankom Casablanca den 14.6.1940, og ble nektet utklarering av de franske myndigheter. Den 4.7.1941 ble skipet rekvirert av Vichy-regjeringen, og mannskapet internert i land. Frigitt 16.11.42. Ankom Dakar den 24.1.43 og mønstret på "Rutenfjell.
Opptatt ved Radioskolen i London fra 1.11.1943 til 10.12.1944.
Sjømann ikke nevnt i sjøforklaringen til "Tana".
