ANDERSSEN, KNUT BRANDT, kokk, Tjøme. Født 11. mars 1920 på Tjøme, s. av Johannes Anderssen, f. 1881 i Sverige, og Signe Therese f. Benjaminsen, f. 1888 på Tjøme. Var før krigen byssegutt på d/s Soløy av Oslo, ble senere kokk og var antagelig ombord da «Soløy» ble torpedert på vei fra Bermuda til England 24. juni 1941. Kom siden med i den hemmelige etterretningstjeneste og formidlet bl. a. hemmelige oppdrag til konvoier. Døde på Det norske hospital i Edinburgh 23. april 1944. Gravlagt på Vasser kirkegård.
