LEINHARDT, TORBJØRN, matros, Strinda. Født 20. juli 1912 i Trondheim, s. av Adolf Olai Leinhardt, f. 1879 i Trondheim, og Marie Kristine f. Olsen, f. 1877 s. st. Var matros på d/s Trolla, som var i England da krigen brøt ut, og fortsatte i den norske handelsmarine. Var sist matros og skytter på d/s Brant County, og omkom 11. mars 1943 da skipet ble torpedert i Atlanterhavet og gikk ned med 36 mann. Det var på vei fra Halifax til Liverpool. Broren Trygve omkom 1942.
