M/T REGINA ble rekvirert av Vichy-myndighetene 21.06.41. Mannskapet ble tatt i land i Bona, Algerie. Innlosjert på internerte M/S BOSHPORUS 24.07.41. Rømte i fiskebåt 23.09.41 og ankom Gibraltar med britisk skip S/S ALPHAMA 08.10.41.
Etter torpederingen 02.05.42 av M/T SANDAR på reise fra Trinidad til Gibraltar ble han avmønstret i New York 26.05.42. Hadde permisjon til 29.07.45.
