Seilte under krigen i alliert fart på t/s Lampas som ble torpedert våren 1941. Han ble reddet og tok straks etter hyre på m/t Finnanger. Skipet gikk i konvoi fra Greenock, forlot 26. februar 1942 konvoien og forsvant på vei til Curacao. (Fra «Våre falne»)
